Sue Jeffers was unanimously endorsed by the RLC National Board in April of 2006 and confirmed by Minnesota RLC Executive Officers as a leading advocate of individual rights, limited government, and private enterprise.
** We applaud Ms. Jeffers for her unsuccessful campaign for Minnesota Governor and hope whe will continue to make contributions to the pursuit of liberty within the Republican Party.
** Susan describes herself as both a libertarian and a "lifelong Republican," who has always voted for the GOP, volunteered for the Pawlenty campaign in 2002 and has served as a Republican election judge. She began talking to Republican delegates, who persuaded her to seek Republican party support, in addition to her LP endorsement."
The campaign has welcomed our endorsement, which got the attention of libertarian blogs. Jeffers was denied a vote at the June 1st GOP Convention, but will likely be a candidate in the Republican primary.
