Addresses RLC
2006 Convention

The 15th Anniversary Convention of the Republican Liberty Caucus was held in Orlando, Florida the third weekend of September, drawing over 100 delegates and participants.
Highlighting the event was a keynote address by Stephen Moore of the Wall Street Journal. "I want to salute you all for what you do for liberty and I love this organization," said Moore. Joining the banquet reception for Moore was US Representative and Florida US Senate candidate Katherine Harris.
Delegates heard officer reports, adopted amendments to the RLC
Bylaws, and elected a new Board of Directors. Moving Forward panels included a dozen prominent speakers, with two special appearances by renowned free market advocates.

200 Candidates Endorsed!

In the past, the RLC has been happy to endorse a few dozen federal candidates, but this year we were deluged with signed Liberty Compacts and recommendations from new Chartered states. After reviewing each of the candidate's issues and campaigns, as well as Liberty Index ratings for federal incumbents, RLC officers urged members to consider supporting over 200 of the applicants.
RLC members and advisors from a dozen states are included among those endorsed.

Due to various campaign finance regulations, members should contribute directly to state and local campaigns. Click photo or name links at right to contact featured RLC member campaigns, or lookup your state.

2006 Liberty Award Winner
Over a dozen awards were presented at the Florida Convention, honoring Champions of Liberty, including RLC endorsed candidates and our featured speaker.
The annual Liberty Award was granted to Wisconsin RLC member Aaron Biterman. As the National Director of Chapter Development, he has helped organize several states, established eGroups for all state organizations and invited hundreds of personal contacts to participate in RLC activities. He has also activated the RLC-Campus eGroup with over a hundred students and professors from campuses across the country. Over a dozen have agreed to serve as their state's Campus Coordinators.
Aaron has also been invaluable in identifying state and local candidates for RLC endorsement.
