The Executive Committee of
the Republican Liberty Caucus (RLC) has appointed Jill
Mellinger of Dallas,Texas as the official Treasurer of
the Republican Liberty Caucus Political Action Committee
(RLCUSA-PAC) and has appointed a new PAC Board of
Directors comprised of Robert Booth, Jr. of Houston,
Texas, Dan Burdish of Las Vegas, Nevada, Jill Mellinger
and Charles Muth of Las Vegas, Nevada, in a unanimous
vote, on this date, in compliance with the current Rules
and Bylaws of the Republican Liberty Caucus adopted in
Convention.
The Executive Committee of the RLC, in an April 12, 2001
unanimous vote by tele-conference, authorized the new
PAC Treasurer and Board of Directors to take the
following actions:
1. Open a new checking account for the
PAC under the name "Republican Liberty Caucus
PAC" as a segregated fund of the PAC;
2. File with the Federal Election
Commission such forms and materials as are required to:
a. Change the official name of the
RLC Political Action Committee name from
"Republican Liberty Federal Campaign Fund"
(Account # C00269241) to "Republican Liberty
Caucus PAC" (PACronym: "RLCUSA-PAC");
b. Designate the new PAC as a
Separate Segregated Fund (SSF) Political Action
Committeee of the Republican Liberty Caucus;
c. Modify the name of the PAC
Treasurer from "Michael E. Holmes" to
"Jill Mellinger" and designate such
Assistant Treasurer as the RLCUSA-PAC Board of
Directors shall appoint;
d. Modify the mailing address of the
PAC from "21310 Park Valley Drive, Houston,
Texas" to such address as the RLCUSA-PAC Board
of Directors shall designate;
e. Modify the PAC bank and checking
account to the new bank and checking account
selected by the Treasurer and Board of Directors;
3. Notify the current banking
institution of the "National Liberty Federal
Campaign Fund" to transfer all the current assets
to the new bank and checking account and to close the
existing account;
4. Undertake such actions as may be
appropriate to notify previous contributors to the
"National Liberty Federal Campaign Fund" of
the modifications to the PAC.
Certified as a full representation of the official
actions of the Executive Committee of the Republican
Liberty Caucus.
